This may be a little early, but it will give you some time to make plans… If you are looking for something to do next Friday (Feb 3rd) and you want to check out some really good acoustic rock music, the band Pyro Gel will be playing a show at JD’s Pub in Glenshaw.
Who the Hell is Pyro Gel and Why Should I Care?
Well they just happen to be the best acoustic rock band in the greater Pittsburgh area. They play songs from classic bands such as Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Muse, Alice In Chains, the Beatles, and many more. Anyone that goes to a Pyro Gel show is sure to know most of the songs, so you’ll have a great time singing along and rocking out.
Ok, ok.. I might be a little biased.
Three of the members of Pyro Gel are coworkers of mine. They’ve been playing together for several years now and I’ve seen them play on many occasions, but they only play out every few months, so check them out if you have the opportunity. And if you’ve never been to JD’s, it’s also a great bar and always a good time on a Friday night.

my buddy and I were in town for a steelers game and they were playing at the bar at the hotel we were staying at. they were good and a couple of the guys were wearing steelers jerseys.

I saw these guys last year in December I think and they were great. I am big Alice in Chains fan and I feel they did an incredible job of covering them. They also get the crowd into it which is the sign of a great band.
These are guys are awesome. I agree with Rich there Alice in Chains is amazing, for a moment I thought I was listening to Lance Staley. A great band who seem to love what there doing and that is making music.
