Hi and welcome to my personal blog about life in Pittsburgh.  My name is Mike.  I live and work in the Pittsburgh area (though soon to be moving to Salt Lake City UT), but I was born and raised in Ohio.  I grew up in the Akron area and went to school in Youngstown, OH.  I am a Cleveland sports fan living in Pittsburgh since 2004.

This is my attempt at branching out and writing about my daily life and interactions within the city of Pittsburgh.  This is not meant to be a definitive guide to the city of Pittsburgh, but just a guide to my personal favorite places to visit, eat, drink, and play.

I hope that you enjoy reading my (sometimes drunken) ramblings and please leave comments (good or bad).  I’ve obviously not visited every bar or restaurant in the city (ok maybe I’ve been to all of the bars), so if you have feedback about a favorite spot that I should visit, please let me know in the comments or by hitting me up on my contact page.
